In December of 2008 I was invited to a party where a friend showed me a
small Tibetan bowl with some Tibetan writing around the rim and ask if I could
read it. I said no but I knew many Tibetan chant’s so we sat in a small circle
with the person in front of me working the singing bowl and I began to chant a
long train mantra. You must know that it was very cold and we had left our
coat’s on. Well as I chanted it became hotter and hotter and my friend was
watching us from the kitchen with her baby at her side. As the heat emanated
from the room the baby’s cheeks redden. I was feeling connected to every one and
every thing and the energy went up my spine to my head with the feeling of a
hundred ant’s dancing under my skin. When we were done all coats were off and
the room was energized. I then thought I had to get a singing bowl for myself
The next year November of 2009 I meet my first Buddhist Priest. Venerable
Sha’ul Hirschmann who is a Senior Buddhist Priest from the Center of American
Buddhist Practice in St. Louis. I shared my story with Sha’ul so I could get
his in site he told me I had opened a portal for healing energy to come though.
(Thinking back I had also been trained as a Reiki Practitioner receiving both my
1st and 2nd degree that same year 2008 as well as working
with Gayatri Mantra which is said to contain all powers of all mantras for 2
full years.) Then at that very moment a vendor from another boot came up to me
and put a singing bowl in my hand. Wow the universe has some awesome timing. The
Priest smiled and ask if I would like him to bless it. As I watched the Priest
bless my bowl I was feeling so humble on how the universe works. He told me I
would be using the bowl to do blessings and clearing.
I have bought many more Tibetan Items just to find out later that they many
of them were also blessed by the same Buddhist Priest.
I thank you Sha’ul and the Universe for the many gifts you set before me so
that I may share them with others.
